Flax Seed Powder(podi) |
Ingredients Needed:
- Flax seeds: 2 cup
- Chana Dal: 1 cup
- Urad dal: 1 cup
- Red chili: 3 nos
- Curry leaves as needed
- Oil: 1 tsp
- Salt as needed
Instruction:
Step 1: In a small pan add, chana dal and saute it until it get brown and transfer into a plate. |
Step 2: In same pan add, urad dal and saute it until get brown with nice aroma and transfer to a plate. |
Step 3: In a deep bottom pan, add flax seed and saute it until the sound get off and transfer to a plate |
Step 4: In same pan add oil, curry leaves and red chili and saute it for 2 mins. |
Step 5: Cool all ingredients in a plate. |
Step 6: Once get cool, In a mixer jar, add ingredients one by one separately and make a powder and transfer to a bowl. |
Step 7: In a bowl, add salt as needed and mix well using spoon. |
Step 8: Finally store it in a glass container it will last for 1 month. Add Some sesame oil and enjoy this podi with Idly, dosa. |
