Spring onion has mild tastier than most onions. In Tamil it is mentioned as vengaya thal (வெங்காய தாள்). Great taste and rich in nutrients. May boost digestive health, have antibacterial properties and help to control blood sugar. It is an excellent source of vitamin C and calcium. Spring onion chutney used as a side dish for dosa, idli and even with rice also give good taste.
